Porsche 911T, 1973 RHD

73 911T, RHD with E engine in Gulf Blue.

For sale due to changing circumstances and a lack of time to use in recent years.

1973MY (10/72) 911T. RHD with 1972 2.4E engine. A well known DDK car that has been maintained regardless of cost and developed by the current owner of the last 9 years to drive anywhere with grace and pace.

The car had its body restored by Barry Carter in 2004/5 when this was his first 911 project. The bodywork is obviously excellent. Barry converted it to RHD properly by unpicking the LHD bulkhead then welding in a RHD. Photos of the conversion go with the car. The 2.4E engine was also rebuilt in 2004/5 by Barry and had a top end rebuild in December 2010. The engine runs a modern combination of ITB’s and EFI developing a healthy 178bhp. It starts, stops and goes very well indeed ?

The interior is a nice place to be, refurbished in 2014 with a new Southbound carpet set, the door and trim cards were recovered, refurbed original door pockets fitted, custom Recaro SportSitz S replicas fitted in 2013 and it already had a 380mm leather wrapped steering wheel. It has 4x 15″ Flat 6 Fuchs all date matched 10/72, refurbed in 2009. It has F and R ARB’s. SSI Headers (American not Dansk stainless steel) and a Dansk Stainless steel exhaust were fitted around 2012.

Overall, a great looking and driving car. Comes with all receipts/history since 2004 and Barry’s photos of the refurb.
